Yes, racism regarding aliens having to be the answer to the the accomplishments of the ancient world for which scientists still have no answers.

Black geeks have, for years loved sci fi but rarely see themselves represented until recently. As an original viewer of Star Trek, I was always enamored with that existence that required a universal translator.
This show offends those of us who understand that ancient Kemet, the Maya/Incas and other indigenous communities may have been more advanced than even we have achieved. They seemed to have more going on than met the eye of those who would use their false Western lenses to assess something beyond their imagination.

I used to watch this show but I got tired of the assumption that ancient people were somehow less advanced than us.
I have always maintained in my head that the multiple civilizations that came before us were more advanced, but we keep getting one thing wrong that causes the earth to expel us!

BTW, I don't know the relationship between aliens and White people but I am sure we will know if we're supposed to. 😉
